Church wedding music provided by a live harpist will not only add an extra special touch, but will fit in with church rules on what type of music is allowed. 
Nowadays, having only religious music played is not so much the case, although certain types of music and some love songs are still not allowed. In my 10 years experience as a wedding entertainer in Australia, no clergy has ever objected to my wedding music. On the contrary, they have said how much they enjoyed it and how fitting it is to have a harp providing background music for the ceremony. Great Acoustics
One of the reasons I love playing in churches is the great acoustics. They are actually designed to project a beautiful, rich sound, especially near the front where the altar is placed. Sometimes, if the church is VERY big, I may have to use amplification. I can do this by simply plugging into their P.A. system, or by bringing my own battery powered amp.
